Riiiiight.....

harper wants to create an Office of Religious Freedom.   (I)ts role would be: to monitor religious freedom around the world; to promote religious freedom as a key objective of Canadian foreign policy; and to advance policies and programs that support religious freedom.

Considering the political interference that occurred at Rights and Democracy, and considering that harper has vowed to defend Israel unconditionally, I seriously doubt that this will be anything more than an organization created to appeal to voters but will in fact defend and promote only those religions harper personally defends.
