Some big losses

I don't mean big names, here, I mean excellent people who are what we can only wish most politicians were like.  Very sad that most of these experienced, dedicated politicians lost to token candidates with no experience who ran little to no campaign.

There are so many, but here are a few that come to mind:

Nicole Demers -  tireless defender of the rights of the underprivileged.

Gerard Kennedy - the kind of heart any party should have, integrity, intelligence

Richard Nadeau - energetic, passionate, intelligent, defender of the public service and the little guy

Gilles Duceppe - excellent politician with class, integrity, passion.

Raymonde Folco - vocal defender of women and children’s rights

Tony Rota - low profile in the House but worked very hard for his constituents, really grasped that he worked for them

Marlene Jennings - defender of human rights, tough lady

Martha Hall Findlay - integrity, intelligence, balance, strength

Larry Bagnell - another politician who represented his constituents with passion and long, long hours
