What's the difference between Rob-fucking-ford and Pat-this-is-a-fucking-disgrace-martin?

The other one swore because he was angry that elected MPs showed utter contempt and disregard for voters by abusing the power of their elected positions.

Well, if rumours are to be treated like fact, then there will be some partner swapping and cutting in going on.

I think we need a Bill banning cahooting.  And a glossary of terms to explain to readers the difference between rumour and fact.  And politicians who don't toss both around as though they are interchangeable.  And a pony.  And a flying pig...

If both rumours are true and both the pot and kettle have been in cahoots with the Master Strategist, it's understandable that especially in a minority government deals have to be made or few Bills will pass.  These deals should be done in the open however, so we can know if our elected reps are acting responsibly on our behalf or just whoring themselves off by selling off on professed party stances for the political gain of their party.

Besides, if I suddenly had a lobotomy and was going to cahoot with the CONs, I'd want witnesses.  Lots and lots of witnesses.  And a contract signed in blood.  With the most horrifying of curses attached should the contract be violated.  And titanium body armor, extra thick in the back.

Tories, Bloc could be in cahoots on House votes

Sure, and Jim Flaherty could secretly be a financial genius who simply chooses to look incompetent in order to gain the sympathy vote.

I think Duceppe learned after the 2006 election that steve’s promises decay faster than ununoctium.  The Bloc leader has stated in the past that his party’s goal is independence for Quebec, and that in any votes in the House the Bloc will place the interests of Quebec first.  Duceppe is smart enough to know that long term, harper would do more to damage Quebec culture and Quebec as a province  than the few small concessions he may actually grant in a bid for support are worth.

If there’s some cahooting going on, I think it may have more to do with this.

So, while it is possible, if you were on some pretty heavy drugs and lived in an alternate universe where pigs do indeed fly, Jim Flaherty is a political genius, Pierre Poilievre is known as Mr. Manners, and Baird always recycles, then maybe you can believe the Block is in cahoots with Harper in that place.

But here in a world where harper has shown contempt for distinct societies, calls official languages the failed god, mocks and trivializes the Bloc day after day, this talk is just Pat Martin trying to bleed the Bloc with a poison rumour-dagger so that the NDP can lap up the voters he thinks will drip out of the wound.
