The U.S. government has notified Ottawa that the WikiLeaks website is preparing to release sensitive U.S. diplomatic files that could damage American relations with allies around the world. U.S. officials say the documents may contain accounts of compromising conversations with political dissidents and friendly politicians as well as activities that could result in the expulsion of U.S. diplomats from foreign postings.
May explain this –
The founder and editor of the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, is wanted in Sweden after accusations of rape and molestation, a spokeswoman for the Swedish prosecutor’s office told CNN Saturday.
I’m sure that more than one nation would like to see Assange discredited, locked up, on the run…anything that will prevent him from making available “accounts of compromising conversations.” After all, no lie is ever too big if the goal is to hide the truth from the public. No individual is too precious to sacrifice in the name of subterfuge. No value is too worthy to crush in the name of preservation of power for the few.
It’ll be…interesting to read what the US felt it had to warn Cannon about.
Hmmm…rumours today of a big cabinet shuffle…

I find it so interesting that as soon as any one person has any real dirt on the US, that person is immediately trashed. Like Julian Assange and Kurt Sonnenfeld. Or found dead. Like Hunter S. Thompson.
Conspiracies R Us!
like a really out there spy movie, but I'm sure this is real. It's amazing what Assange has had to do to protect himself and his system.
