harper protecting my morals? I don't think so.

Ottawa maintained it had the right to make criminal laws and the purpose of the act was to protect the "health, safety and public morals" of Canadians.


Fortunately, until harper manages to stack the Supreme Court of Canada with holy rollers, at least some of our morals are ours to protect.

The top court ruled on contentious portions of the federal Assisted Human Reproduction Act, which the Quebec government successfully argued infringes on provincial jurisdiction.


Chilling, what Ottawa claimed.  Sort of like what goes on in places like this -

Of course he can dictate morals to the rest of us!

Now that he's stacked the Senate, I wouldn't put stacking the SCC next on Harper's agenda.

Mentarch, people often say to me harper only takes orders from god. I really believe that he'd overstep god - if there was one - believing he himself is smarter and knows more.
