Harper's conservatives: where getting away with a crime is a victory

The CONs involved in the in-and-out scam which not only let them cheat on election spending but stole money from taxpayers plead guilty.  But somehow the CONs are claiming this is a victory.

Well, when truth and reality are fluid, I suppose you can claim just about anything then change your argument when it applies to someone else.

Every single Conservative accused of wrongdoing has been cleared today,” Mr. DeLorey said.

Oh?  Then why the guilty plea, the fine, and the findings of the Court of even the minor charge of serious negligence?

To actually cheer themselves on for scamming the public and getting away with little more than a token fine that they won't even feel...so graceless, so vile they can't even slide quietly to their slime pits for the weekend.

And tomorrow the lot of them will make a show of honouring men and women who died fighting for democracy.

It was a Con victory. They plea bargained their way out of the charges against Gerstein, Finley, Donison, and Kehoe.
No "let the record show..." for them.

Pierre Poilievre was on CBC As It Happens tonight crowing about it.
"Paid a minimal fine" for "an administrative oversight" he repeated about ten times.

"Agreed to pay a minimal fine" was the way he put it.

Totally obscene and buried. They really don't care knowing the media will not take them to task.

I also heard that interview.

The idiot sounded like a wind up doll gone rancid.
